Mike defines the strategic direction for and leads the development of Oco's world-class technologies. Most recently Mike was at IBM where he was an architect for core scalable processing capabilities in the IBM Information Server (formerly Ascential DataStage). Mike has served as co-chair for the Data Format Description Language (DFDL) standard workgroup, and on the ANSI X3J13 standard for the Common Lisp programming language.
Mike earned his Masters in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from M.I.T, and his Bachelors' Degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a named inventor on eight patents.

Dean Lane, Chief Information Officer, Henley-Putnam University
Dean Lane has in-depth background and experience in managing the improvement of IT and Company Operations. Mr. Lane currently serves as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Henley-Putnam University. John Lewis, Director - Information Services, Geokinetics Inc.
Born in Houston, John received a BA from Texas Christian University and a JD from South Texas College of Law. Three years in the practice of law convinced him to return to his first love, computer systems administration and programming. He re-entered the industry in 1995, leading project teams in large-scale rollouts of Windows 95 workstations and Novell, Microsoft and Unix-centric backend systems. In 1997, he accepted a position with Basis Petroleum, handling administration of its various network and server based systems.
Basis was acquired by Valero, and shortly thereafter John moved upstream, taking a position with Grant Geophysical as MIS Manager for a multi-national geophysical services company.
Over 11 years at Grant through its acquisition by Geokinetics, John has taken on projects of increasing scale and importance, including ERP rollouts, mail/communications system design and maintenance, adapting PC cluster technology to seismic data procession, and most recently leading the IT phase of Geokinetics' SOX compliance process for FY 2007. In his spare time, John plays the guitar and is an active member and former President and Trustee for the Unitarian Fellowship of Houston.

Bill McNee, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Saugatuck Technology
Mr. McNee is the President and CEO of Saugatuck Technology, a strategy consulting and subscription research and advisory firm focused on emerging IT markets. Douglas Menefee, Chief Information Officer, The Schumacher Group
Douglas Menefee, a Gulf War veteran, has been involved with technology since the early 90's. In 1994 Menefee resigned from the University of Louisiana to become a pioneer in the Internet economy by co-founding Planet Symphony, a website creation and interactive marketing management company. The company gained national attention in 1995 when it staged the first ever Internet video broadcast of Mardi Gras. Michael Mucha, Chief Information Security Officer, Stanford Hospital and Clinics
Michael Mucha is a 12 year security industry veteran, with extensive experience in secure software development, network security and IT risk management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for Stanford Hospital and Clinics, one of the world's leading academic medical centers, located on the campus of Stanford University. His prior experience includes consulting with Ernst & Young ,where he helped build their nascent Internet Security practice in the mid-Nineties. Later, he served as one of the lead engineers for Exodus Commucations' Managed Security Services business unit. Exodus MSS served over 1,000 firewall, IDS and VPN customers in Exodus' 60 data centers, leading the way in the commercial security outsourcing market. He holds a BS in Computer Science and a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Miami.

Marc Olesen, Vice President, HP Software-as-a-Service
Marc Olesen is the Vice President of Software-as-a-Service for Hewlett-Packard. He is responsible for HP's Software-as-a-Service business delivering Managed Solutions focused on Business Technology Optimization. Marc has over twenty years of professional experience in software and services. His extensive background includes organizational leadership, service management, and application delivery. Prior to joining HP, Marc was the Senior Director of Customer Service for Qwest CyberSolutions (QCS), where he was responsible for global application management services. Preceding QCS, Marc was a High-Tech Consulting Practice Manager with BearingPoint. Marc also held positions with Remedy Corporation and Oracle Corporation. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Economics, both from Stanford University.

Peter Quittmeyer, Partner, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP
Peter represents technology-related companies in corporate, contract and intellectual property matters, as well as "end-user" companies from various industries in their dealings with many technology-related matters, including computer system failures.
Peter's extensive experience with technology transactions includes e-commerce, ERP solutions and "aps" processing, outsourcing, domestic and international licensing and distribution, licensing and technology transfer, corporate finance and reorganization plans. He also has substantial experience in computer software transactions and Georgia's no-compete and trade secret laws.
In addition to his IP practice, Peter has a very active practice in corporate, finance and acquisition matters, particularly in the technology industry. He currently serves as principal counsel for three chemical distribution cooperatives, requiring negotiation of large-volume distribution, supply, marketing and license agreements. He has served as lead attorney in the completion of over 50 mergers or acquisitions, many of which involved complex technology or intellectual property considerations. He also serves as principal counsel for a high-profile "turnaround management" group based in Atlanta.
Peter has been an adjunct professor of law at Emory Law School where he taught computer law. He has published numerous trade articles and has lectured on corporate, no-compete, and technology-related issues. Peter is volunteer general counsel and a board member of Community Life Concepts and the Georgia Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, where he received the Top Volunteer Award in 2005. He is listed in Marquis' Who's Who in the World, and was named a "Georgia Super Lawyer" in 2006.

Bruce Richardson, Chief Research Officer, AMR Research
Bruce Richardson brings more than 27 years of experience to his current role as chief research officer at AMR Research. Bruce has spent most of his career analyzing the software industry with a distinct emphasis on ERP and supply chain. Since joining AMR Research in 1988, he has been responsible for spearheading new market coverage and contributing to the company's analysis of leading market trends in areas such as ERP, supply chain management, service-oriented architectures, software-as-a-service, software appliances, and virtualization and visualization.
Bruce is a sought-after public speaker, having lectured and presented worldwide on the firm's behalf nearly 500 times in more than 20 countries. He has covered and analyzed SAP since 1991 and made many early market predictions that have been realized, such as the rise of the advanced planning market and the evolution of MRP to ERP. Bruce also coined the term MES early in his role at AMR Research when he was responsible for all the written research that came from the firm.
One of his primary responsibilities today is to write the lead research piece for First Thing Monday, a weekly publication that reaches more than 38,000 subscribers in 95 countries. FTM has quickly become a must-read for people interested in the future of software.
